Lantern Light Workshop helps discover and bring your creative vision to life.

We facilitate creative expression by designing and drafting original content born of your vision and with your participation.

Our process begins with a pad and a pen. It ends with a one of a kind expression or strategy that you may use as you wish. Nothing we do is off the shelf.

We do tangible creative work through the Workshop; one-on-one personal development work through Richard Kurth Coaching; and organizational work through a variety of individuals and communities to whom we are faithfully affiliated.

FOunded in 2017 By Henry Kurth as an enterprise to showcase his work and invite collaboration, the workshop was facilitated by his father, Richard Kurth.

Henry is a visual artist, vocalist, poet and popular Five Points raleigh barista. He is dedicated to drawing and painting pretty much every day for the time being. He prefers to travel on fooT For a Full Picture .

Richard is a spiritual coach, organizational consultant and project producer and facilitator. He likes to assemble and support skilled people working together for a common ends.

Today:

We are a project-oriented creative laboratory. Our purpose is to help our clients imagine, design, iterate and realize projects that are important, heartfelt and durable. Our aim is to encourage and support our clients in their work.

We form coalitions of trail-tested professional practitioners in creative fields

by serving as a hub for artisans, coaches, teachers, technicians and experts we know well. We invite these highly skilled friends into projects on an ad hoc basis according to the nature and needs of the work.

Truly important decisions rarely come quickly. Our role is to help our clients make, execute and sustain really good choices. We believe that our multi disciplined coalition approach is the best way to realize that aim.    .

Lantern Light workshop has collaborated on music with several producers around raleigh

“I commissioned Henry to do a picture that I could focus on before my wife underwent surgery for bladder cancer. I thought of cancer as a crab that was in the wrong place. He came up with an image of a crab being led back to the right place. I prayed through it before the surgery and during the months of subsequent testing and full recovery. It hangs now and forever on my bedroom wall.”
